Default Torque Tube Input Shaft Question

Hey Guys,

I am currently in the process of replacing my trans/clutch in my 02 Z. I noticed that the input shaft on the torque tube has a very small amount of movement (or wobble) to it. I assume this is normal and the TT bushing is rubber and can deflect a bit, but want to see what you guys thought. Here is a video of the wobble while spinning and me moving it by hand. It is tough to tell how much it moves since the camera is not 100% stationary, but try to pick a reference point in the background. When measured, there is roughly 0.5mm of movement from one extreme to the other (even though the camera may exaggerate it).

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!!!

It's normal. Even t56 transmissions input shaft can move some. If your pilot bearing looks good and the mating surface on the shaft is not beat up you're good to go.
