Default C4 grease fittings in control arms

Has anyone ever drilled them for grease fittings and if so where and what were the results ? any failures?

If you are referring to arms with oem (rubber) bushings they were not designed to be greased.

If you are referring to replacement polyurethane bushings, I can't help.

I use Global West bushings that require grease fittings. This type of bushing is the only type Ive used on all my cars. Its a metal shell with a plastic sleeve.

Looking at their website it looks like they show a grease fitting. If so where did you place it on the control arm and any issues with it.

The upper A arm has the grease fiiting in the bushing facing up for easy access. There is as pic on page 2 of engine where you can see the fitting in the blue anodized part of the bushing.

The bottm A arm gets the fitting the A arm. I drilled and tapped the center top portion, but I reccomend the bottom. I did mine 1997 with many track mikes since then.
