Default Harness bar that doesn't require cutting b-pillars?

I really want to get a harness bar for next season but i would love to avoid permanently altering the car. so i would want to avoid cutting or hacking the b-pillars.

This is for a C5 Z06

Any suggestions? I tried searching but couldn't find anything specific.

Thanks in advance!

Just leave the b pillar covers off, then reinstall later

Or buy spares; that's what I did way back when. I think HardbarUSA even offers pre-cut ones for the C6...

I am not sure what model corvette, I bought an R&D for my C4, fit perfectly and no cutting of any kind.

Brey Krause or a hard bar mount using the nut for the factory seat belt.
No cutting c5z06. Note you can still use the factory belts

Same for the R&D bar. By the way though well I like my R&D as far as quality, I am not recommending it over other bars. It has one feature I don't like (there are work around), it doesn't have anything to hold the shoulder belts in place. Since my stock vette seats dont have pass throughs for the set belts, they tend to slide on my shoulders.

I just bought Corbeau A4's so that problem will go away, but if you have a choice I think a bar with built in retention of the shoulder belts is worth a little extra. Also well I have the cross bar camera mount and fire extinguisher, I don't really need the camera mount as I primarily use a GoProHD. Just something to consider before you buy a bar and options.

I have a Arizona speed & marine that I bought off another member, direct bolt on, no cutting or damage. You might want to check if they have the same for a c5. It also has bolt on for the belts so no slipping.

I have a Brey Krause and it only took me maybe an hour to take everything out of the car, before I took it in to have the reverse gear rebuilt under warranty. Figured the harness bar my sway their decision on the warranty covering the fix.

+1 I've used one for several years in my '00 FRC. Works really well.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

I've got the Hardbar harness bar and I am extremely pleased with it. Mounts to the existing seatbelt mounts in the B-pillar. Even has a provision to attach stock seatbelts to it. Highly recommend.
