I loved the pictures of Roy's #91 T1 race car and JRL's TTA car.
I thought Stan Dye was bringing his new T1 car. I wanted to see pictures of that car.

Nice thanks for the pics, i wish i would have made it out there now. I was at BJ for the weekend and got a ride with JJ (damn those zr1's are fast ) and then talked to melinda and Victor at the tent out back of BJ.
Any pics of the new section of the course at all?

awesome, how many feet will that be adding to the straights then?
yeah JJ did a good job with the zr1 demo ride. i was surprised he remembered me from March of 2009 attendance but glad he did. Will have to come back for level 2 some time for sure.

As usual a great event more driving than an old guy can take!
The heat did not help to say the least when your wearing a driving suit, but great time, running with some fast guys like Roy, John, Ed, and Mike.

Thanks for putting up the pictures. It was a really fun weekend. I had a great time racing with John and his #54 C6 Z06 as well as Joe and his TTA C5. My 2 favorite cars were a C5 with a 650HP supercharged LS6 and a 2010 ZR1 which was black and showed all that cool carbon graphite body work.

Roy, can't tell you how much fun I had following you. It's great when you can play with somebody at speed and learn so much. Can't wait to go back. Next time,I'm going to change my camber settings when I prep the car and hopefully keep the steel from showing.

The extension will make the back straight 2,640ft (1/2 mile) and the front straight will be 1700ft!
The extension adds 6/10th of a mile of track and includes a version of the Watkins Glen "Bus Stop" and Road America's turn 1 with about 4 degrees of bank. At the exit of this turn, we've added a twist, a quick right that rises up a hill, then a left that descends back down at the apex. Or we can bypass the hill and just blast down the front straight! It looks really fun! I can't wait to drive it
