Put that in the survey. Enough people put simular comments they may change the location. Land is the easiest part of the process in my book.

According to IMEDC studies, the Twin Cities would make up the eighth-largest market for NASCAR if a track existed, and the seventh-largest market for IndyCar and NHRA races.
The venue would be cool, especially if a road race infield was built too.

Hence the reason why I'm trying to help out what little I can. Improving MN's auto industry is a win-win situation

Nice job Randy. Its a little disappointing in that the other locations were talking about dedicated road courses. The drag strip would be great for the comunity to help cut down on the current street racing isssue they are all worried about.

I hope you guys can get your track. Here in Iowa we have an existing 3 mile road course just SE of Des Moines just waiting for a savior. The track is intact, although breaking up, understandable having not been in use since 1967. It would need a lot of regrading for safety but the thing had to have been fast as hell.

^^^Saturday October 16th

We do need this track! I think it would help stop some of the street racing that happens every Friday and Saturday night in the Metro area. It would be great if they opened the track for Fri and Sat night events! I bet a decent amount of people would stop street racing if they had an outlet to legally run.
