How about some peer pressure from the forum to goad Aaron Quine !!!
Aaron,
Just so you know I was sincere, here is your public offer:
Time to get back on the horse!
The offer:
You may borrow my T1 car at zero expense to run at Mid-Ohio in a few weeks.
What you are liable for:
1) Absolutely nothing
What you are responsible for:
1) Grinning from ear to ear.
2) Ripping the car around the track
3) Having a great weekend.
Why?
Partly because I'm insane but mainly because you're there for anybody that has ever needed anything. My car wasn't ready to run this past weekend otherwise I may have been in the thick of it with you.
Time for some unsolicited payback!

What can I say but DAMN ---- that is the best, kindest, most crazy offer that I have ever seen. There are VERY few people that I would loan my car to for a HPDE session much less a race weekend, but Aaron is one of them. Go Aaron !

Aaron, you better take Mike up on this offer. He's a stand up guy, and I'm sure he'd be very offended if you turned him down. You don't want to offend him now do you?

That is a great offer and very generous.
I wish I thought of that.

Aaron....that is a great offer and I have wheeled Mikes T1 car personally and it is fast .......just not FAST enough to catch the "beast"....
Mike is a stand-up guy alright, a little cray perhaps, but the world should have more like him and it would be a much better place

Go for it Aaron! I had thought of letting him run my car if I had one (maybe one of these years I will). Aaron is a great guy and I have known him since we were kids tromping around at NCCC events while our Dads were racing.

WOW! Great offer! If I would trust anyone in my car other than myself it would be Aaron (unless of course I am chasing a record or something ). Aaron I hope you take this offer up.

Hey Mike let Danny borrow his car he's got to be a little j/k Mike!
Great offer Mike, not sure if Aaron will feel up to it, I'm sure he's still a little "saddle sore" from where those belts where. Gotta love the folks on the forum.

Very cool, Mike!
This is typical Mike Newlander stuff- a good guy that we missed having up there last week (though in light of the start, he may have been lucky not to be in attendance!)

Mike,
WOW, I was truly speechless on your offer when you called last night! I would normally not hesitate to do this, but the credit card is still Smoking from the Run-Offs as I charged my way there. I think what’s best is I really need to focus on working extra hard now and take on tons of side work to pay off my debts from the trip and the loss of the car.
I hope to see everyone down the road another day whether it’s racing or just showing up to crew and hang with everybody. I told Mike that maybe next year if I need to keep my license current, I could just start at the back of the pack in his car and do half the distance and pull off.
I am still pretty sore now and probably doing too much as it is. Just for chits and giggles, I tried to unbolt my rotor/brake/hub/knuckle assemblies yesterday still attached to the ripped off wheels. No way their coming out, the rims are folded in on the backside and will have to be cut apart with plasma cutter to see if I can salvage some expensive race pads to sell.
I am surrounded by a great group of people here and I thank everybody for their willingness to help.
God Bless,
Aaron Quine
