Barber with Chin
Who else is going Oct 15-16 to Barber?
I was reviewing some of my footage from last year to get mentally ready for the line and thought I would put one up here to help get your juices flowing too. Any advice for this turn?

While I've had enough offs in the last year to most likely keep me from pushing that turn any harder, let's at least go through the mental exercise. The 14's are a lot of fun, unfortunately the out @ 13 is probably the most dangerous part of the track with a brick wall about 20 feet away if you hit it too hot.

I consider 14 (technically 14A) the only real throw away corner on that whole track. I see it as an obstacle to getting to 15. I run as hard as I can through 13 and 14 and get it slowed down just enough so that when I turn I'm on a wide line entering 15 for the late apex. An early apex through T15 could have really expensive consequences.

Since I started crashing entering 13 and finished exiting 14 it is not my favorite part of the track.
14a entry is almost like you are pitting out and accelerating S turn to enter 15. Turning early at 14a will kill entry to 15. 14a is slick I was tank slapping there in my cousins GT3...almost an expensive day...

Try not to cut down anymore trees between now and the 15th.
I'm not sure what time they'll let us in there but we'll get there early afternoon. I was going to spread my car, truck and trailer over several spaces for you, Koi, Ken and anyone else who is joining us on level two if that sounds ok.

I'm heading up Fri night but wont get there till between 7-8pm. Does anybody know if I can get into the paddock at that time and leave my car there instead of out front of a hotel with expensive rubber in my trailer?

This place is the Ritz of tracks. You drive about 3 miles to get to the gate, then another couple till the paddock. This way they can display all that fancy sculptured artwork for you viewing pleasure.
The gate with all the expensive Porche stuff is quite intimidating to a first year C5 owner. Especially when I pull up with my geek tire trailer surrounded by semi trucks pulling double stall trailers carrying all the 200k plus toys.
Last year I got one of these though
