I meant he was talking about selling out at CMP, but yeah, hopefully he's still around in any fashion, the paddock humor would decrease by 75%

Seems like every day is a struggle!

I was telling Mark in November I was seriously considering selling everything and taking up golf. I was really down. My wife had had some serious health issues during the spring and summer, I had an eye problem that required me to cancel Watkins Glens, and I was just sick and tired of prepping the car. All of those issues manifested themselves in late fall and I was really and truly ready to hang it all up.

Since then, things have leveled out a bit. The laughs around the paddock have picked up and I'm getting ready for another season. Whether I make it through the whole thing, who knows, but I'm looking forward to CMP in Feb.

Now, where in the ***** is that wing and splitter I ordered?

Assuming nothing falls off, hopefully I'll be at R/A in March. I guess Rob Leopard will be all back together by then. Should be a good turn out, Rob, Tim, Tony J (FF), Kevin C (RX7), Russ D (RX& or GTO), Bob Lutz (Mustang or Panoz)and a host of others I'm sure I left out. I guess Jason will be amongst us by then, too.

Damn! Just think, if you'd done that my hip wouldn't be hurting right now, I'd be on the golf course, I'd have more money, you'd have captured the Southeast ST2 championship 2 years in a row, and vied for 2 National Championships, and had a smile on your face that no one could have wiped off.

At the end of each year, my age catches up with me, and it's hard to want to do all that's necessary for the following year. After sitting around for a month, I remember just how much fun it is, and all the friends at the track, and I start up, again.

This past year was different, though, I was really burned out.

Sorry, didn't mean to forget you.

I thought you were just driving that this year until Michael sold the car. Is he going to keep it?

Mike is as wishy, washy as you Somedays he is gung ho and others he is tired of it. The inevitable bugs in a used race car did tend to try his limited patience..

So right now he is keeping it and I am putting in some upgrades

Hey Kevin! Yea, that's the ticket! I just need more stuff to fix!

Seriously, I'm getting excited about the 2011 season. I'll start next week changing the fluids, pads, rotors and straightening up all the stuff that needs fixin' in preparation for CMP in Feb.

I'm going to hardwire my camera in place, and I have to run a hot wire to my radio. I'm also getting a new dyno run next Wednesday to see if I can unload more weight.

Plus, too and also, I'm getting some new shlt, and I'll need a test day to see if it works.

I have next week off and nothing else to do....unless I go out and buy the PS3 with the new Grand Turismo 5.

Is he planning in CMP on Feb or are you going to run it?
