Gotta love finding out more forum members are attending a track weekend then planned.

got to the hotel tonight and saw that lawdoggs car is in the parking lot, so i pm'ed him and he told me git r dun and john boos are also going to be at the track this weekend. myself and dfinke and mbeckers, & diamond will all be in attendance as well. Sounds like a great 2 track days ahead of us!!

ran my best time ever today of a 1:37.400 i was pretty happy with that.

cant wait to give it my best tomorrow. this morning i was plagued by brake issues. but got it all straightened out so ready to rock and roll tomorrow

Hey I think I met you yesterday afternoon. I had the silver C5Z and I think you were behind me when I went in to turn 1 a little too hot. :o Need to get some new brake pads as the XP8's aren't enough. I managed a 1:46.195. Was VERY happy with that seeing how the car is stock other than Pfadt shocks and only doing one 20min session in the car last year. Wish I could make it out today! Great day afterall.

Nice to see Derek tear up the track yesterday. I broke into the 43s for the first time on the NT05s only to see John B. do a low 42 in my car. I guess I got more work to do.

Had a great time at MAM yesterday. Congrats Derek on the 1.37. Had a good time running with Lawdogg since are times were similar. Hope you guys had a good day on Saturday.

Derek it was a pleasure finally meeting you. That Avatar throws 1 for a loop, way nicer guy than I was expecting. 1:37.4 is smokin fast nice job!

Yaa Git er dun- Eric Winsor is for real. That kid can drive give him some time in that car & we are all in trouble. We have more sorting & more mods coming yet so watch for Eric next year!

The coolest thing about this weekend for me was meeting the 80 year old hot shoe. He didn't start performance driving until he was 63 & he is very fast.

yeah he is very fast especially for that old. (hope i can do the same at that age) after i was there a fast friday and told him what mods i had the next spring he came back with a heads and cam z06 again

I don't need this pain I just made a class change myself by getting a different track ride now this!!!! How am I to ever get FTD, damn!

I'm doing NASA next year along with NCCC stuff. The fast track has got me hooked, looking at 5-6 NASA events next year. Want to join me I could use a few pointers

We had a GREAT time at MAM (B00 BASH) this weekend............I was running Natha's car with Derek and all his HP on my tail for a lap then gave him a wave by and started chasing him (literally) when all of a sudden I got the meatball flag......turns out Natha had the Course Marshall flag me. Said the car was smoking (it is really rich at the moment and was smoking a bit). I really think Natha wanted me off the course as I was having WAY too much fun and she wanted some tire left for the 10 lap inverted sprint race.!!!

BTW.....the sprint race was a hoot!! 10 cars, inverted start out of the pit lane timed where if everyone ran their qualifying times, it should end with everyone on the last lap right on top of each other. Two cars took that literally and had some contact (GTI and Miata) but sure enough, FIVE cars all came out of corner 14 and headed to the flag stand nose to tail on the last lap.......Natha passed the leader in turn 13 on that last lap and lead the pack to the checker.......it was an exciting thing to watch as the cars that started spread out all around the track just kept getting closer and closer until the finish. Looking forward to watching that again next 'Boo Bash'.

Enjoyed seeing all the 'forum guys' out at our home track........hopefully will see more of you next year! I think maybe Derek has in-car of him blowing my doors off..........
