Default MGW Shifter mini review.

***Update***
I just got back from an autocross race and the shifter worked perfect. I had to go into 3rd. gear once per lap and the shifter did it flawlessly. With the stock C5 one, it was a 50/50 chance it would go into gear.

Okay I just installed a MGW shifter with tall shaft and race ****. George also recommended that I buy a base model C6 shifter box. Really had no problems installing it, even without instructions. I think his CD is for Windows OS. After reading a lot of reviews on all brands of shifters, I figured I might as well start some where. Took the car out and shifted it like 50 times to get the hang of it. To be honest it's no big deal. Just a little harder to get into gear, but you can tell exactly when it's in gear. No noise at all either. Reverse was never so easy to get into. I have a race in two weeks and I'll let you know how it went. M12 transmission if you were curious.

I've got the same thing sitting in the trailer. Will be installing it for summit point next weekend.

Can't be using the stock shifter w/ my fancy new transmission.

It's a Sparco Rev. I believe it's discontinued. I'm 5' 11" 150#. Mounted with Sparco side plates and base. I just recently took out the Sparco adjustable slider.
