Default Restored and ready to do battle in New Zealand

This car was built here at our shop from the ground up. The chassis came to us in 20 pieces and we first assembled the chassis. Then built one of the nicest-trick C4 race cars ever built. This was about a 94 build or so. The car was owned by a couple different owners here in the states. Until a extremely nice guy from New Zealand bought the car. Shipped it over and started a restore project. Here it is "read for battle".

There isn't too many digital pictures of this car, so I thought it would be a nice addition to the forum!!!

Great looking C4 Randy. Is that a Morrison front end or the one that Findlayson sells?

Very cool! Carburated car? Looks awesome, do they have a series over there that it runs in?

Great looking car! Do you have access to more of the side panels or a source you can share.

Any interior shots available?

Thanks
Ed

So Randy, with a '94 year build, were you about 12 when that car was built at your shop?

Sweet car Randy!

Matt - I think that is the AFX front piece.

The side panels look like the ones from the old Specter Werkes C4. Note sure who has the molds now.

Just out of curiosity...how do you get in it?

The lower valence has no break from front wheel to rear wheel. Is the door only the piece above the body line? I'm guessing that lower space is filled with side-intrusion protection and would make no difference if the door was full height?

It IS the correct color though

I was 14 years old, just had my girl friend at the time dumped me after watching Forest Gump at willow-creek. That is ok because she wasn't beastie boy fan, and didn't like AC/DC

Performance FX owns the front mold and maybe more. He would be a good source in finding more body panels like this.

It has a half door, to get in and out of.

Bob over at Performance AFX owns all of the molds from the Specter Werks car. He has them for a standard and ZR1 size, front bumper, hood, side panels, rear.
Getting in is easy, the top half of the door opens up and it would be the same if the whole door opened and you climbed over the cage. He does sell the body work if someone is looking for some. He also has an entire car for sale with the body work on it and I believe the hood on his is carbon.
