Default Storing R888s

What is the best way to store Toyo R888s over the off season?

Mounted or Not?
Pressure?
Orientation?

In dark bags out of light and in mild temperature that is stable. I just pu them into black garbage bags and close them and rack them in my heated garage--no problem with them the next season. You can get special tire bags at Tire Rack for storage

Dan,

I think you should just bring that CALLAWAY South where its much warmer. Then you won't have to worry about the winter tire storage !!
The next 4-5 months make for some of the best track events down here in FL.

1) Mounted but completely deflated
2) Coated with lots of tire shine
3) In sealed, black garbage bags
4) In a temperate location

Tires age primarily via the loss of volatile components in the blend that keep them soft and pliable. By deflating them, you lessen the pressure differential that will accelerate the "expelling" of the volatiles. By coating with tire shine, you seal the surface. By bagging, you lessen the dry air contact that evaporates those volatiles and you block out UV rays that decompose the rubber. And by keeping them in a cool location, you lesseng the evaporative possibilities.
