Default How Many People Would Be Interested In This Seat

We are considering offering a seat like this in leather for C5 and C6 customers. We had a customer install a cloth version on our brackets and sliders and the install was very easy. He gained headroom and has both the stock seat belt and a harness installed. He should be sending pictures later this month.

The seat would likely be too snug for anyone over a 34" waist as a daily driver but we will have other options for larger customers. It is fully reclinable and the back flips forward. If there isn't that big of an interest from those that can actually fit in the seat we won't bother looking into it. We would choose black plastic covers over the grey.

The seat above is similar to the seats on the links below. Many companies sell the same seat; copies of the Bride Gias seat. You can see cloth versions starting around $350. I saw a blowout on red seats once on Ebay for under $300. Our mounting brackets work great with these and allow use of the factory seat belt and 4, 5 or 6 point harness.

I'd definitely be interested. I looked at & sat in the Bride Gias & was tempted to order one of the blow out copies just to see if it would fit. I'd prefer a combo of cloth/leather, or alcantara/leather.

If you don't make it I'm still tempted to buy your brackets & one of the others & see how I like it. I was modifying my stock seats but don't have the time to finish it right now.

Maybe you should post or link this to the regular Z06 section of the forum to get more attention? Pure racers are likely going for fixed back seats...

We did post in the C5 and C6 General sections as well.

For those installing fixed back seats - keep our mounting brackets in mind. Our brackets have sliders and provisions for mounting the stock seat belt (I'd only use that if the sides of the seat are low enough) plus a 4, 5 or 6 point harness. They have been used with seats from Sparco, OMP, Cobra, etc. and gained headroom, even with the sliders.

I can offer special pricing if you pm me because we are making some modifications to this bracket to work with Sparco EVO2 and EVO Plus seats and to allow use with Sparco and Brey Krause C5 harness bars.

We didn't design brackets for the C4 but the floor is flat. So you be able to mount just about anything that fits in the car with square tubing.

Our VR1 model should fit fine but it is a fairly snug seat. In black simulated leather as shown it's $495 per seat.

Do you have an FX1-PRO? They have pedestals under the seat for bottom mounted sliders. These would need to be shaved off to use our brackets. I just spoke with Corbeau and they said these are not structual and can be shaved off. They are there to shim down bottom mounted sliders so the front lip is cleared.

Since I want to stay NCCC group 1, I need the folding seat and would like to retain the power track since the wife also drives the car.
how much for your tracks to do that?

We do not make hardware to mount this reclining seat on the power tracks. They normally come with their own sliders which can be installed on our mounting brackets. The seat will still slide back and forth, but no power functions.

The beige seat was not made in the US and the color would not match any GM tan. If customers want GM colors we would likely need to make the covers ourselves.

Thanks for the photo. Can you tell me the distance between the slots? It looks like these could be used for several different seats.

The distance between one sets of slots is 12.25" and the other 12.5". We may only have one set of slots on future brackets.

They can and have been used with many seats from Sparco, Cobra, OMP etc. but cannot be used with wide based seats like the EVO2 or EVO2 Plus with our current side mounts. If you have a seat in mind I can help determine if it will fit.

Do you know if the kirkey 47 series, 17" will fit using your side brackets?
