Default hoosier A6 question

So i am in need of some A6's for this coming weekend, i can pay full price and get them or buy used and get them after my 2 day weekend even and take a chance with my current A6's. 1 of my front tires has a quarter size thread showing in 2 spots and my rear has a one or two dime size spots in it. This is my first set, should i switch the tires and put the abuse on the other side which is completely fine with no thread showing? this would obviously be on the side that doesn't get the weight of the car? IV had these all summer and surprised how long they lasted. so i figured i'd ask.

Also when replacing should i replace all 4 or just the ones that are needed. im sure the others are going to be threaded very soon. Thanks!

I wouldn't run corded tires anywhere, autox or HPDE. If I saw those in Tech, you'd wouldn't pass and then you wouldn't run. Unless you're going to be running all winter long, buy some used tires to get you through next weekend.

I would not run corded tires. It’s not worth what could happen. I only change the ones that are needed. Unless it is a race then I try to use four new. It is amazing if you are getting a lot of time on these I only get two days on the fronts and six on the rears.

If corded tires weren't allowed, both Mark and Kevin would have been parked for half of this season.

im taking them off my car tonight an will let you know exactly which ones i need, if anything my fronts are 295/17 and rear is 315/18 i was impressed how much life i got out of these tires as well, i got the front with 75% tread left and rear with 50% used and i have gotten 6 track sessions out of them and i push my car to the point where i can almost drift it around the corner but still have control not literally drifting it.

If your running track events shouldn't you be using R6's?

Personally I like the A6 over the R6.
