C5 18x11/9.5 vs 18x10.5 Wheel Considerations
Hey guys, looking for some advice here. I'm considering running 10.5s on all four corners or an 11/9.5 configuration on a C5. These are my options based on access to used wheels. Are there any advantages to the 11/9.5 configuration?
From what I've gathered the R compound 305 tire availability is good, therefore, I'm leaning toward the 10.5s. It's my understanding with 10.5s the active handling and traction control is turned off which I'm okay with.
The consensus has been the car ultimately needs more rubber in front than what a 9.5 can offer, therefore, 10.5s were chosen for all corners for the time being.

I'm leaning toward the R888 as well, however, earlier today I stumbled across the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo. http://www.us.pirelli.com/web/motors...o/default.page

so the best combination is to run 18x10.5 wheels and 305/35/18 rubber on all four corners?
Is there a loss of streetability with this combination? The reason I ask is that the car is also a DD.

The car hunts a bit when you encounter grooves on the street. Will be worse with an aggressive alignment. I'm about -1.5 camber in the front which is a bit of a compromise between street and track. 315/30's fit also but may rub a bit in front with full steering wheel input. I got the toyos as scrubs for $75 ea. I'm sure the pirellis are nice but more $.
