What drives me nuts is that these guys act like everyone is sitting around with 10 broadband providers to choose from. Lots of race fans don't live in the city or big developments and we're lucky we're not on dial-up.

FYI, in an interview with Fehan the Corvette had a 35lb weight penalty that none of the other GT competitors had at this race. It was due to something in the drive train, but I can't remember what it was.

35lbs over a 12 hour race can make the few tenths per lap that will add up. Also, more weight = worse fuel economy. Throw in a couple accidents and considering they came in 3&4th, they did pretty well. They should be competitive at the next race.

but if they were non-complient, 35lbs might have been nothing......

Back on topic, the World Challenge race today was even worse than ALMS. The commentators didn't even seem to be watching their own feed.

They should make them park the car if they're not complaint.

for those that missed it, I have to post this. This is highest quality...4 blue bars. Looked better during the day, but this is what the coverage looked like in the evening. I don't consider this SD quality, certainly nowhere near HD.

Hmm, my picture quality was way better than that. Good enough to watch full screen on a 15" laptop.

it came and went.....I have fiber optic connection, and some looked good, some not so good. It got worse as it got darker.

No comparison to HD on SPEED

Dear John,
We appreciate your email as well as your comments about our new telecast package with ABC/ESPN. Please be assured that we have read your email and are aware of your concerns. I recently addressed many of these in an open blog to our fans. In the event that you did not have the opportunity to read that blog, please take a moment to do so as I believe it may address some of your comments and hopefully answers many of your questions. If you still have a question or additional thoughts, please feel free to respond to alms-espn@americanlemans.tv and I or a member of our staff will get back to you as soon as possible. Your support and passion for the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón is apparent, and we want to do all that we can to keep you involved with what we believe is the most auto racing on the planet. Thank you for taking time to communicate with us.

Subject: sebring coverage

How can I view the sebring race ?my isp does not provide espn3 . is there no video available on the alms website? This is very disappointing . I look forward to sebring every year and not being able to see the race has me very upset. Please don’t tell me about the 2 hours of delayed coverage on abc , too little too late .you should at least have kept the rights to stream video on your own website , very disappointed.

you were kinder than I, I simply pointed out the many fans who would be unable to watch or promote their events and the very good posibility that many would never come back

sadly, dont count on it. IMSA released a few updates and Porsche, Ford, Jag, Lambo all got performance help.
