Removing cone marks from the car
My wife and I attended two autocross events this weekend. Had the carnage on the driver's side rear quarter panel to prove it (Saturday's event was a little brutal).
I had bought some stuff called Bug Squash to help remove the bugs from the front, so I figured what the heck, I'd give it a try.
The cone marks came right off with a minimum of fuss. I was like, damn, that's the easiest time I ever had removing the cone marks.
And, I beat the wife on Saturday (she would have spanked me, but she couldn't run cone free) but she beat me on Sunday by a tenth of a second.

I use Xenit. You can find it at alot of places with the car cleaning stuff.
It is a citrus based product and it will remove wax and such, so you'll need to apply wax or polish afterwards but works great.
I just got back from a national event and hit a few and they came off just fine.

bug & tar stuff is a little toxic for me...when my VY Z is painted from roof to skirts in tire rubber a nice "cleaner" wax works just fine for me...and the car is waxed when I'm finished...such a reward for the car after a complete thrashing...I hate lapped traffic and eating their debris

I use Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover to get rid of all the track marks after a weekend on the track. It's very easy to use and doesn't damage the paint!
