Default Where to buy worn out 2 piece rotor? The bigger the better

I figure since most of the track guys are here, this would be the best place to ask.

It may seem like an unusual request. I'm looking to get a worn out 2 piece rotor. It can have slots, drills, or any combination of the two.

My intention is to clean it up (possibly even have it machined smooth if too bad) and use it as a base for making a coat/helmet rack. I'm in the Houston area and local is always good. Yes, I could just buy a new 2 piece 14" rotor for $500+ but that seems overkill for a simple project.

Thanks

I don't have much these days. Just a C6 center console lid and base (beige).

Yes, hat and ring would be preferable but I could make due with just the disc and come up with something clever for the hat.

No problem. I don't hold on to my junk forever either.

I just changed the rings on my 2-piece rotors. Reused the center piece or "hat" but have the rings. I live in west Houston. Send me a PM if interested.

Ding Ding Ding. Local guy. We have a winner.

Unlikely that you will find a good deal on a hat since the ability to re-use the hat is a big selling point. Unless someone has somehow damaged a hat.

Yep. That's what I figured, but there is always a chance.

I have a handfull of worn out Coleman rings floating around and would be happy to send you one of the local deal falls through. I'll cover shipping and all if you show us a pic of the finished project. Shoot me a PM if you need it.
