I jumped out of the car Saturday and had my wife carry me directly to the track medical center. Started to lose my vision and felt like I was going to puke in my helmet. EMT said I was "badly dehydrated".

I'm such a wuss.

We use different products from these guys for all of the Grand-Am stuff, it really does work. When it's this hot outside, you notice a HUGE difference between using it and just water/gatorade. For DE, I wouldn't spend my $$ on it but if you guys are racing and are getting dehydrated/tired, then I'd splurge on some.

Drinking too much causes dehydration.

I am in. $300 for 3 1/2 hrs track time at RA is a pretty good deal. I think I am in intermediate solo, but wouldn't mind having a ride along if any of the advanced solo guys are interested. Haven't had an instructor there in a while. Maybe even some locals who are not driving, but want to ride along? Free lunch, beer, water etc. I will be in a red C5Z #24.

I'll keep an eye out for you. I'll be in the black F250 with the Lemans blue Z06 on a ghetto fabulous uhaul trailer.

I'm in - instructing.. Haven't been on track in so long hope I remember which one's the go pedal. A couple of the Englands are signed up instructing and so is Mike Werner so you'll have a few folks with RA experience.

Oh, and for any regular instructors out there, Mark Hicks is still looking for a couple more -- contact mhicks@chinmotorsports.com .

You may see me there Khoi. I shot Mark an email a couple of days ago... and realized I left the "s" off the end of the chinmotorsports at the end of the email address. I re-sent it last night.

You think you're going to be able to make the August NASA event?

Brent, that would be awesome to see you there. As for August on track in Atlanta.....it is so friggin hot then, especially hopping in and out of students cars. But I see you signed up so that may give me some incentive.

As if July 1 is going to be any cooler! I'm out for this one due to an Army obligation popping up today that lasts a few weeks. I'm prob. going to do the one at the end of July though to hopefully prep everything for NASA the following weekend. Come out... it'll be my last NASA-SE event before I move. I need one more shot at the champ....

Fixed it for ya... So I'm just another box for you to check off aren't I... Maybe I should be a no show to just not give you the satisfaction! Didn't think you'd be around this long but I definitely want to run it with you if you're doing TT in August and not racing....
