Default Retiring from racing

Too old and just tired. Time to become a waxer and talk about the good old days.

2005 Corvette LS2 SCCA T1 log book and NASA log book race car. Clean title. Car was built from a driving street car and not a salvage car. Dry sump, Z06 brakes, 2 piece rotors, upgraded trans and differential. CCW wheels race radiator coolers on engine, trans and differential. Radios and transponder. $27500 and I would consider trade for street car.

You're too young to quit John!! Hang in there.

You thought you retired once in 2005 when I tried to deal with you on your C5 T1 car.

I will get pictures this weekend. We are doing a bathroom remodel and car is under stuff. 2005 was my cancer caused retirement but now it's just time. Car is located in Alabama and I can have it back together for the SCCA race in July at Road Atlanta. I have only driven twice in two years but if needed I will take it and run it. Sounds like a good excuse as my license expires at the end of July and if I renew I won't quit.

Bob, Thanks for the kind words but I have a time problem. Work is starting to get busy on something that can not be delayed and going back and forth to the left coast takes time. By the time I get this platform done there will a new thing next year. Shop that I was renting was forclosed and now I have both of our trailers full of parts and tools, Tres wants to race with SCCA in July at Road Atlanta and there are a few things I need to do on his car. And most importand wife is pissed that both here CTS-V and her Corvette are out side while I put the T1 car back together. No Bob, I don't want to quit but I just can't keep up this pace and mass cluster with tools and parts in a packed trailer. I need a beer from that place close to the Ford dealer that bought you the yellow car. :-) Tres and I have developed a taste for the wings there, yea it's the wings we look at. :-)

2005 was medical retirement (cancer) but Dr Speed took care of that and now I have too much to do.
