Pfadt Camber Kit
Is it worth $290 for the kit plus 3-4 hours of labor on a C6ZO6? I understand that the same results can be accomplished by setting the car up for a reasonable street alignment and removing three washers to get to -3 degrees camber for track use / Hoosiers.
I'm having Vengeance Racing install the Pfadt poly bushing kit and thought that adding the camber kit at the same time would be quick and easy.

The biggest reason for the camber kits are to lock in your alignment settings. If your car does not lose its settings, then its not really doing much for you. On the other hand if you are bounceing the car off the curbs on a track, then you want the alignment locked in so then its worth the cash.

Not sure what 3 washers you are talking about, but if you are doing bushings then this will not take any time to install. It will take a bit of time to setup as you determine which plates you will need to install (an iterative process). You'll need an alignment as soon as you install these.

For those of you (like me) who are unfamiliar with what the Pfadt rear camber spacers, I have attached a helpful youtube video I found that has a good depiction of the plate and description of how it works.

It doesnt take much to cause the stock adjusters to move and lose your settings...

Here's a video of my car doing exactly that in spectacular fashion, for those who haven't seen it.

Being new to Crovettes, and not having an opportunity to work on my recently acquired C5Z, This image was helpful to understand the Pfadt camber kit.

I installed them myself (though had a pro do alignment). They're awesome. They're more for keeping your alignment static and set compared to shitty eccentricity bolts that can move under track driving conditions. Worth the money if you're mostly tracking the car.

It happened to me, first hpde I had ever done. Fortunately it was at the end of the day and I had reserve traction to help deal with the issue. I went to plates before the next event.

I stumbled on this last night -http://tikt.de/performance-parts/cam...ikt-camber-kit
Realy nice since you can do fine adjustments, but at 830 bucks I think Id stick with AMT, Pfadt, or Van Steel....
