Default Same size tires & wheels F/R ??

2005 Z51 coupe. DRM front brake duct kit. Want to mount 305 35ZR 18 Toyo RA1s on OEM C5 Z06 (rear) 18 x 10.5 wheels on all 4 corners. Don't think clearance will be an issue except at full lock >> and if I'm at full lock on track then rubbing on the brake ducts will be the least of my problems

For those who have this set up, will there be issues with the TC/AH? Or other issues? Do I need to have different size tires front and rear? If so, what sizes do you recommend?

After doing a thread seach, I am not clear about how the computers will react to this set up - some report problems and others do not. Thanks for sharing your experience!

It is the diameter of the package, not the wheel.

I have different than OE sizes on my track tires and wheel and have yet to have an issue.

I just did an experiment with same size tires/wheels on my 01 C5Z. I ran 275/40-17s on all 4 corners and did not get a TC/AH message at speeds up to 85 mph. I'm surprised the TC didn't activate since the revolutions/mile are higher with the 17.

I bought a set of 4 OEM C5 Z06 (rear) 18 x 10.5 wheels a guy was running on a C6, tire size he was running was 275/35/18 on front and 295/40/18 rear. The rears were rubbing the rear fender lip under hard load but that many be do to the tall 40 series sidewall, I had no problem on my C5. And I wouldn't recommend 275 on a 10.5 rim either, they'll mount but don't look right.

Not sure yet -- may do the NASA GL/MW event in Aug on Fri-Sat-Sun or 10/10ths on Thurs and NASA on Fri. Will be there this coming weekend with NASA and Aug 4-5-6-7 with the WC team.
