Lightest, affordable rotors for 06 Z51
Pads are finally to the point that it is about time to do my brakes, already have a set of new GM pads just need to see if I can afford to put a nice set of rotors on or if I am going to turn my stock rotors.
I do not road race, used to drag race but Gateway closed at the end of last season.
wouldn't mind saving a little weight if possible, I run the car pretty well and do several back-road type cruises with friends but thats about it.
Thanks for any feedback/recommendations.

I have these on my 07 Z51 DD, they are very lite and last a long time. I have over 65,000 miles on my set so far. I am not sure what affordable may be to you, but I just wanted to share the info.

I have read about them before, the reviews were very good as well. Did you purchase yours from the vendor the link went to?
Thanks for your feedback!

Check out rockauto.com
They have OEM cross-drilled Z51 rotors for about $80-$100 apiece.
For just aggressive road driving, I doubt you could sense lighter 2-piece rotors, even if they saved 5 lb. per corner. The wheel/tire alone is roughly 50 lb.
