Default Hoosier A6 - R6 question

Taking the new track car out far the first time next weekend at Road Atlanta. It has 4 newer a6's on it with 2 heat cycles. One rear was damaged and I need to replace that one. I have a brand new r6 in the shop and would like to use it. Will this combo work or should I bite the bullet and buy one new a6.

Put it on the left rear. It will do more work at RA than the RR.

I have mixed tires in the past out of neccessity and it works, you just have to be cautious. The car will handle different and the rear may be a bit less grippy. You just need to be aware and use the first session to feel it out and go from there. I would take one session just to "feel it out" before you let it hang out
