Default Those with World Challenge Bodywork

What size wheels and tires are you using? Looking for the largest/proper size wheels tires that will safely fit under that bodywork.

What front size and offset for wheels? What size tires?

What rear size and offset for wheels? What size tires?

Thanks!

I just picked up a world challnge vette. It has 315/30-18 and 335/30-18 on it. Does look like it could handle a 345 in the rear. I am not sure about off sets but I would think that would also have to do with the brake set up you have.

So the wheel sizes are 18x11 in front and 18x12 in the rear? Thanks

I believe the fenders were based off of pre-production Z06 parts, so whatever you run for a C6Z06 should be fine. The originally made a set of super-flared from fenders, but the were dis-allowed by SCCA. I don't believe they are really any different than stock Z06/GS/ZR1 parts

I run a 295-18 front on 18 x 10.5 wheels and a 335-18 rear on 18 x 12.5 wheels. You can fit a 315 in the front but it will rub on full turns and wear a hole in your inner fender liners. The 345 will fit on the back, but I run the 335 because I don't want to run the 315's in the front.

Shouldn't have a problem fitting a 275-315 on the front of the car and a 325-345 on the rear.

I did run the ALMS tires on the car for testing prior to the GT2 car being finished in late 2007 which was a 300-650-18 front and 310-710-18 rear...don't let that fool you that's an 11.5 front tire and 13" rear 25.5" tall at the front and 28" tall at the rear...big tires.

It's a race car...things are going to rub from time to time, and hopefully your not trying to parallel park it.

What kind of offsets do you run?

I am thinking a 18x13 rear and 18x11 front. Will either 335 or 345 fit on the 13 inch rim?

Thanks.

When I first built the car I was running CCW Corsair and they were 18 x 11 front, 18 x 13 rear. I sold those and am now running Forgeline in the above sizes. I will check the offsets when I get into the shop tomorrow, I don't remember them. You can run 335 or 345 on a 13" wheel.

So the slightly smaller sizes fit a bit better? Is that why you sold and resized? I don't want "problem" sizes. Sounds like I will go down to 18x12 in the rear. I think 18x11 is safe in the front....

OK, no one ever got back with any offsets....anybody able to check?

I just got back from the track with the American V8 Supercar guys and the Viper Comp Coupe is running 18x11 front and 18x13 rears with the Hoosier spec R100.

I want to have wheels to run a 315 front and 335/345 rear setup. However, if my group continues the R100 spec the Viper is using 305 fronts and 320 rear...only close sizes available.

What offsets do you 18x11 front and 18x13 rear guys have? I plan on getting the wheels to the wheel manufacturer this week to be rebuilt.

Since the offsets probably are the same...with the added wheel width going outboard on the wheel....other size wheels might work for measurement as well.

Thanks

Contact John Slagle at BBS 770-967-9574 ext. 3029 he could tell you the offsets. I know the wheel size is 18x11 and 18x12. They did go to a 18x13 for some time. I believe they are back on an 18x12.
