Where can I buy the tape that covers my wheel weights. Can I just use gorilla tape or should I get the metal tape?

Get it from Lowes or Home Depot in the HVAC section.

I buy the Metal Tape for AC ducts for homes and its plenty sticky. Its sold at most Home improvement stores. I purchase the thicker of the two tapes they sell. The thin one is made in China and the thicker better one is..... $hit still made in CHINA!!! Just make sure the area is clean. I use starting fluid to wipe down the area.

I have a large roll of DEI cool-tape that I use for balljoint boots etc. I use that .

I also use the white paint pen and outline the weight and put the weight value on the wheel. I carry a couple of strips of the weights too and then when/if I toss one it is simple to put one on.

If it is just for track duct tape will work for a single event as a safety. That is what the tires guys put on at the races.
