Tilton Sintered Metallic 7.25" Clutch P/N 56-804
Anybody have any experience with this Tilton clutch? It's metallic not carbon but only weighs 17.8 pounds complete with flex plate. Good up to 930 ft/lbs of torque. Relatively inexpensive at around $1,900. Was wondering if it would work for occasional street use. However, the car is used 90% for road course use so street manners aren't critical. The car also has a torquey cam so it's not peaky.
I'm comparing the Tilton to the RPS BC2 which is carbon but weighs around 25 pounds with aluminum flywheel and costs about $500 more.
Anyone have any experience with either or both of these? Thanks.

I have the RPS carbon billet twin. ~24lbs. Perfect street manners.
I don't think the Tilton offers anything over the QM (unless you get the carbon Tilton). Only get either if you drive at least 99% on the track.
RPS is coming out with an ~8" carbon - will be in the same weight range as the Tilton and QM offerings (18lb w/fly) but slippable.
