1975 Pontiac Michicgan IMSA Street circuit- Corvette
I thought this was a real cool old video of the Pontiac Michigan IMSA street circuit from 1975. This must have been shot by the Corvette Drivers team
Apparently the McLaren you see at the end was a fatal crash.

It was filmed by Buzz Fyrie who was driving a Corvette and the Mclaren was driven by Warren Tope who had a right rear CV joint break and that sent him into and then under one of the guard rails you see in the film.
The year before Corvette racer/legend Tony Delorenzo wrecked the "Budd Corvette" he was racing in a ball of flames as he tried to miss a slower car that cut in front of him. It was just luck no one was killed in that accident as in many areas there was only snow fence between the track and people watching. Buzz posted this on his FB page and then on YouTube!! It is a great old video but for those who know the history of that race also kinda sad.
