ZR1 CF frint splitter with stock Z06 spoiler
Hi guys, I need some feedback/data/opinion about what I'm going to install on my car. (The ZR1 front splitter from RPI). I love the look of the ZR1 carbone fiber front splitter, but personally, I didn't like the side skirt and the rear spoiler from the ZR1.
So considering some data, all of us know that the car have alot more lift in the front than the rear at high speed. The goal, next summer is to get some high speed run on a closed road courses. Near to 200 mp/h if possible. So my rack height was slighty adjusted to 26.75'' front and 27.75'' rear. Front PFADT SS sway bar at position 2 .
For sure the reinforcement brace was installed !!!
Personally, considering that much lift in the front, in stock form, I don't think that the car would be glued to the ground in the front and get slippery to the rear. I think that the car would be more neutral than it are now without the front splitter.
Let me know, any help or experience shared would be appreciate .
I will post some pics when it would be installed .

is this straight-line only? I agree it won't add a ton of grip in the front, but I think some sort of rear spoiler/wing might keep the car better balanced.

CF splitters look cool as heck. But No offense crack and break quickly as YOU WILL bump it into things.
a front splitter needs to be strong enough to stand on and NOT break.
For drag racing, the splitter may not be needed. Too many aero parts, does slow the car down. Most aero parts are for high speed cornering, not high speed straights.
Good Luck

We start with 70% more lift for the front ? Adding any rear spoiler should get into a rear downforce (vs small rear lift) with always a front lift !!
This is a good point you know ,

Are anyone have seen the last Gm hightech article, where they did test the turbo c6 with aerodynamics parts ?
One part of the test are to install zr1 front splitter and the quite efficient like they told stock Z06 rear spoiler. They told that a only a slight overall lift was still present.
