Need help to ID the splitter and diffuser on a ZO6
Hey Guys, I posted the following question on the Z06 section but got no answer. Can anyone ID the make of the splitter and diffuser on this Z06?
Saw this great looking and from my estimate very functional front splitter and rear diffuser on a Z06 at Thunderhill raceway this past weekend but could not find the owner of the car to figure out who makes it. Any idea??

I don't think the front splitter is either LG or Katech. It is not carbon fiber and it's basically a flat undertray like setup. I really like how the rear diffuser bolt onto the factory panel and it's made out of CF. it's too intricate to be a one off production. This is killing me trying to figure out who make them. I should have knock on the trailer door and wake up the driver lol. Any other idea?

APR has supplied Terry Free with parts that look like that. Give them a call.

they said the owner had it custom made, and they believe the builder is not interested in building more. I asked them to have the owner come here to the forum and chat with us if possible.
Splitter would be pretty easy to do, or use something like MTI's. The rear took some work.

Found the owner Gordan from SF http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...post1579410209
He was racing thier Honda Civic at Thunderhill and he has been doing it for 16 years ... WOW! His Z06 does 1:53 at Thunderhill which is faster than what I can do in my GT3 Cup and the engine is bone stock!
It's a one off diffuser and no wind tunnel data yet.

They tested the parachute on the C5 and have a good understanding what is happening. The diffuser in the picture does little to accelerate the it under the car. It starts at the end of the car and then has angled plated on the sides. Like people putting nets on the back of a pickup instead if a tailgate or removing the gate. It is worse than having a full OEM tailgate.

It would be more functional if the diffuser had a flat sheet connecting it to thr middle of the car. But i like it. This car was at sema

Also, id kill to see one of these for a c5. I dont see why someone dosnt make it. And btw, you didnt get an answer in the c6z section because any mod like that is blashempy, and its not the usual floor mat and wax convo

Hello,
For all you track junkies like myself...FYI. My C6r tribute Z06 by far has been a great experience off and on the track. I driven and owned 05' STI, 96' NSx's, 02' E46 M3 and by far...this car is fantastic with 18x11-13 CCW c14 Corsair, Toyo Ra1 or R888, new Pfadt Featherlight coilover & street bars, Dewitt radiator and Cabotech XP10 & xP8 pads.
P.S. 1:53 lap times at Thunderhill Park was done only with Goodyear's slicks. With Toyo RA1 1:57 lap times.
