its definitely an "experience". i was planning on going this year but i bought my Z06 and cant afford it now.

PS, I grew up in Largo. Thats alot easier drive to Sebring than western TX is.

Well, I'd rather drive around in a ZO6 than go to Sebring! Funny, we flip-flopped. I went to middle & high school down in Corpus Christi. Yep, just a 2 to 2.5 hour drive from Largo, pending on how many RVs I get stuck behind!

Anybody from Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area driving up there on Wednesday? I'm excited. It will be my first Sebring race as well.

Last year was my first time, got there late Friday night.
Paid for my ticket and drove through the gate and I thought to
myself, what the heck am I getting into...

Asked the guy where can I camp, "anywhere you can find a spot...."

Didnt get to sleep until 4am, and slept a little too late ended up in a 2 hour line for a shower.. it was also in the 40's that night.

Advice, 1 get up earlier then everone else and get your shower.... 2 get up earlier then everone else....on Sunday morning and get the heck outta there before everyone else :-)

Going to try to go again this year. I know a little more of what to expect.

Two weeks ago I was up there and it was 39 degrees....

Registered on this forum (as a guy who hasn't had a corvette in years) just to say that I scoured the internet for good Sebring first-timer advice and this was the best thread around.

I'll be getting to the track Friday night with nothing but a rental car, a few spare clothes, and a prayer... this is gonna be interesting.
