NASA Road Atlanta Report and Pics
* Three MTI customers become race drivers.
* Will sets new Road Atlanta record for American Iron.
* MTI Racing and friends attend the NASA-Southeast Trackday at Road Atlanta.

Everyone had a great time. For Mike, Gene and Jeff, this was a milestone in their driving passion. These three men completed the NASA Competition School and got their first taste of actual competition. This brings a whole new level of excitement, adrenaline, and accomplishment! MTI Racing is extremely proud of these men, who are living out their passion in motorsports. Great job guys!
All three guys placed in the top 10, improving their best laptimes. The MTI-Powered cars ran fantastic all weekend due to the attention of the MTI Racing Track Support Program. In fact, Jeff#2 used the MTI Rental C5 for the entire weekend.

Randy of Team Jimmy John's provided the tasty lunch of gourmet sandwiches, Jimmy Chips, and Jimmy Cookies. Randy was trying hard to murder his new Brembo Gran Turismo Brakes, but they kept going lap after lap without fading. Jeff#1 enrolled in our MTI Racing Track Support Program and had a blast!
MTI Racing CNC-Engineer (and 2011 American Iron Champion) Will Stukas drove his Gen-4 Camaro to win the American Iron Class in both races. After a grueling battle with Landon Ball, Will set a new lap record for American Iron at 1:35.17. Congratulations to you Will!!

If you are within 2 hours of the Dawsonville, GA area, there is an opportunity for you to be part of the opening weekend of the new Atlanta Motorsports Park, a luxurious private country club for motorsports. We will be driving the track with Chin Motorsports on Apr 28/29. Come hang out with us, we have a hospitality garage. It'll be a great time.

It was a lot of fun!
When you are at the track, the worries of the week disappear, and you get to play in a sandbox filled with adrenaline, excitement and victory.
I highly recommend it.
