Default Has Anyone Mounted the Pirelli "World Challenge" Slicks?

How many PSI did it take to get the beads to seat? I do my own tire mounting and these are pretty weird. I have mounted 5 of them and each one has the same problem. One side always seats perfectly and the other side seats about 80% holding air, there is about 10 inches of the diameter that won't seat. I went up to 70 psi but without a cage or a remote hose that I could screw on and get some distance, it was getting a little scary
So I thought if I put the tires on the car and drive around a little bit, they will seat, nope. Put soap on the bead area and drive around, nope... Drive aggresively, hit speedbumps, burnouts, parking lot slalom, still nothing. I then drop the pressure to 15 psi and repeat the above process and still, the beads won't seat
What's the trick and please if you are going to recommend a tire shop, don't bother to answer; I want to beat these bastards by myself.

yep, 80 psi when i did mine, use tire lube on the barrels also it will help the bead slide., i also used a rubber tip air gun to rush in more air then what was leaking out until the bead seat. With the valve core removed..

I do my michelins 31/71-18s with a long hose, and about 100-105 psi before they seat. New ones.

Thanks for the tips, I'm buying a 6 foot hose with a remote switch. I'm not sticking my head near that thing at 150 psi

Follow up: I got a lever style inflator with a 6 foot hose that clamps on to the valve stem. I got them all seated and all I can say is I wish I got a 12 foot hose. I can confirm that it took at least 110PSI to seat and sounded like a gun going off when it seated.
