Default E85 LS6 builder and tuner?

Who knows of an engine builder and tuner for this setup? Looking for references and information. Thanks.

How radical? We do a decent amount of E85 stuff.

Not radical. Compression no more than 0.5 over normal LS6. The engine will be for road racing and time trial with NASA and NARRA. Time Trial A with NASA, TT-3 or TT-2 with NARRA. 400 or so HP at the wheels max.

I have to ask why? Availability at different tracks is poor. The fuel requirement is 40% more than gasoline. I calculated that over 100 gallons would be needed for a DE or race weekend. What benefits are you seeing?

Cost, charge temperature, cleaner burning, environmentally more friendly (depending on source and a host of other factors outside the scope of this simple board thread), more power (at the cost of using more fuel), self-cleaning engine. Also, I like to experiment with roads less taken.

I thought carefully about these points as well. In the end after searching for E85 stations and their proximity in relation to the tracks I run at I just couldn't make it work. The need to carry two 55 gallon drums of E85 to the track with me in the end kept me from making that move.

Depending on where you are located I know that Fran at RPM in Delaware did the E85 LS7 engine in the car I was considering. I had two conversations with him at length helping me to clearly understand and weigh the pros and cons of using E85.
