Touring Car Challenge race-NJMP Thunderbolt Bolt August 18th
Attention Touring Car Drivers
First there was the German Touring cars and British Touring Cars .. and now there are Jersey Touring Cars
The Jersey Racing Board (Northern New Jersey and South Jersey regions) is pleased to announce that they are conducting a standalone race for touring cars - the Jersey Touring Car Challenge - in conjunction with their Summer Thunder regional on the Thunderbolt course of New Jersey Motorsports Park on 18 August 2012. The event will feature a separate qualifying and 40 minute races for touring cars.
There will be three separate classes in the JTCC
TC1 - SCCA Super Touring Over (STO) and NASA Super Touring 1 (ST1)
TC2 - SCCA Touring 1 (T1) and NASA Super Touring 2 (ST2)
TC3 - SCCA Touring 2 (T2), SCCA American Sedan (AS) and NASA American Iron (AI)
All classes will use their current 2012 rules. There will be a modest prize fund for each class based on the number of entries.

Bring your Corvettes, Vipers, Mustangs and Camaros out to NJMP for our first Touring Car race.

Le Mans Master
I would recommend strongly you guys on the east coast go to this.
Cal Club did something similar on the west coast last October. We got cars from NASA, SCCA, Porsche Owners Club and VARA all into common race groups.
In out race is was great because we had a bunch of SCCA T1/ST-2 Corvettes, a NASA AIX car and a guy in a Lotus Exige from VARA all dicing it up for the lead. We had several lead changes and some great racing... and no car contact!

Burning Brakes
Two of my friend's are going. I'll be there Sat to help them out, then I'll be over at Lightning on Sunday driving with TT4C. Look for Red Z06 #7 and Grey Z06 #15 I'll be in their pit. Stop by.
