Not unless you have changed from street tires to r-compound tires (e.g. Hoosiers) and are driving on long high g corners pulling sustained 1.1+ g's.
Put a little extra oil in (as per the owners manual) and enjoy.

and learn to manually downshift before turn in and upshift as needed.
any automatic trans still needs to manually shifted, or all the auto shift points will be in the wrong places.

Just need to put in an extra quart of oil and check your tire pressures. Just use the paddle shifters and have fun.

The A6's were normally used on the wet skidpad, at least when I was there last December, which is probably the least stressful use in terms of cornering forces.

correct, we have the manuals but also the A6's as well. we have not had any oil starvation issues on the track, even when driven by the instructors

I will be running my 2012 Grand Sport A6 car up at Road America at MVP Track Days in middle October.
I will report back with findings and hopefully some video as well.
This should be interesting as the last car I ran there was a 560HP/520TQ tire (TVS2300 blower car), manual trans 5th gen Camaro with a full compliment of Pedders/PFADT suspension, carbotech pads, DBA rotors, ss lines and all the other powertrain goodies.

I took my wife's 2012 GS Auto out a month or so ago....yes, DEFINITELY watch your oil temps!! This was at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Texas, in July...so it was 100+ degrees...needless to say, things got hot QUICK. What I noticed is that paddle-shifting seemed to shut-down/disable at hotter oil temps...so I'd do some nice "chill out laps" and let temps get back to normal and then go *****-out again. Hopefully MarkDFW will chime in, he has an auto GS and rocks it!

Watch some of my videos. 2012 grand sport. I use the paddle shifters and beat it as hard as I can. Adding a little extra oil is a good idea. And I run either R Comps or slicks.

The A6 generally runs hotter than the M6 but it is no problem running the auto on the track. Follow advice above on shifting, the car will be an absolute dog left in auto. I barely use 4th, let alone allowing the trans to go to 5th or 6th.
Cooling becomes an issue that is directly proportional to the ambient and your experience. If you only go a couple of times a year, you'll be fine. Go 10 - 15x /year and a larger rad, and coolers for the trans and oil, ducting for the brakes, heat shields for the ball joints, TI inserts in the calipers and upgraded fluids will become necessary.

I'd love to mount it like you did and have a similar video of myself coming up in August.. That looks awesome.
