Ouch. Hopefully that's good news for Petit Le Mans, but never like seeing any racing series get shut down, much less before the season ends.

Spain with 29% unemployment makes it look great here.

EU is affecting us here too.

Tough times and I think many more coming with China slowing.

It has sidelined me tracking at 1200 per day with no break downs. I have found other things to do.

The main issue is that the FIA World Endurance Championship takes part mainly in Europe. They seem to have no problem getting a large amount of teams to compete.

It would be nice if they could get a few teams here in time for VIR on September 15th. You'd think it would be doable.

Well too many series is beeing driven here. Who cares about ELMS? Nobody.
GT3 Championship is "bought" by Audi and/or Mercedes.
Corvettes without factory support are driving in ADAC GT Masters. ADAC GT Masters is about 40 well balanced cars = great show!

Sports car racing needs rich guys. That's always been the case. Always will be. With the collapse of the Euro and the questions about the European economy there's not much money being spent on toys. Actually they're too busy hiding it.

At this point the Chinese don't seem to be spending much money on sports car racing. they seem to like F1 best. It's just a tough time to run a sports car racing series.

Don't forget where all the IMSA money came from. That probably won't happen again. Maybe we can just blame this whole situation on the DEA?

ELMS serves only for qualifiing to 24H Le Mans grid - no true championship imho

but FIA GT1 World Champ cancelled two races in Asia too! Instead of e.g. Korea there are two of race weekends on Slovakiaring in this season
