Default DTC 60 vs DTC 70 - if you've used both chime in

Last 3 seasons I've been using DTC 70 front and 70s/60s on the rear.
Normally get about 1 three-day DE event out of the fronts.

Picked up a set of 60s cheap and threw them on. Pleasantly surprised with them both in terms of braking and wear. I can feel the difference in bite, but I actually like the more linear feel vs the 70s, and they seem to be lasting longer.

Anyone else use both and have an opinion? Right now wishing I'd got more at that price, but even at normal prices they're a little cheaper than the 70s.

Interested in trying the 60 myself. Using NT05 tires.

I don't really recall that much of a difference, but I've only had a few sets of each and only done 14 or so track days. I liked them both though.

Hey Jim, Now you know why I've been using the 60's for several years.

I've been using HT-10's on the rear with great results and wear.

the big difference in 60's (in the rear) that I've noticed is the ease of trail braking. Probably because of the bite, and stopping power, the 60's allow me to rotate the car much easier under braking. The 70's never allowed this. Once I swapped to 60's in the rear I've kept it that way (I run 70's up front).

I run 70's front hawk blue in rear - great combo, great modulation - allow me to toss car around when I want and they last too.

I've only ever used DTC-70, Jim. I might try 60's in the rear, based on your experience.

I have run the 60's all around, as I got two sets of the 60's for a good price.

They held up well for Nasa ST2 racing. They have a bit less initial bite than the 70's but more than enough torque to consistently and easily lock up the tires running hoosier A's.

For the same price I would choose 70's but if you get a good deal the 60's will serve you just fine.
