NICE!
one more from their site:
if it follows with what we've seen thus far, cost is probably around that of a used c6
Im keeping my fingers crossed hoping that the c7 gets a sequential gearbox. If we're lucky RPM may be able to do some sort of conversion...

I think it's built to handle something like at least 1,200 hp, and I believe it's about $24,000.
If you add the shift-without-lift option that's probably another couple thou $$$.
Then if you want the paddle shift option, throw in another several thou $$$.
I think that for my HPDE car I'll be sticking with the stock transmission!!!

Having seen this car first hand, I do believe that the dv46 trans used is specific to the Corvette platform and has a torque limitation of around 800 lb/ft. I also think the transmission cost alone are in the $28,000 range so this type of modification is definitely not for everyone. This car does have No Lift shirting (flat shift), blip throttle and paddle shift options so the electronics are quite complex. This does drive the cost of the build up. I have spoken with the shop and the owner. It is something to hear at the track!!!!!

Andy Lally had some nice things to say after a drive in a Speedsouth prepped customer car (C6Z) equipped with the paddle shift during his driver training event at TWS back in November. Seemed impressed. I believe that car had a 8 + Litre RHS motor with a bizillion-something rwhp..

This is what I posted a few months ago. We have been using the Emco boxes for years now and they have proven to be the best in the business. Here is a closer look inside....
Hi guys,
I wanted to take some time for those looking at sequential transmissions and show you what goes inside of a purpose built unit, not just a conversion piece.
This is the same unit we have been running for seasons in GrandAm and very similar to the larger unit featured in our ALMS GT2 Corvette, and the very SAME unit you can buy for your own project.
With over 45 different gear ratios you can custom tailor this box to each track and your car for the ultimate in close ratio gear boxes
These are all built to order and come in almost 20 lbs lighter than the OEM gear box and feature pressurized, filtered oil to all bearings and gears. Straight cut gears with of course replaceable dog rings for engagement.
Assembled main case
Tail shaft removed showing reverse gear
Comparison of the reverse gear to the main gears
Notice how much wider the forward gears are
Shift forks, notice they are gun drilled and feature pressurized oiling passages
Look inside the main case. Notice the large roller bearings and also pressurized spray bar for oiling to the gears
Main gear cluster
Huge main roller bearings for main shaft and counter shaft
Main shafts and shift rail
Gun drilled main shafts, again with pressurized oiling passages
Main shaft support bearings in place
Built in oil pump
Fine micro filter assembly
Oil pick up tube
As you can see it is more than just a face plated, or dog ring gear box T56 that goes into each one of these gear boxes.
While they may not be for everyone, I hope this shows you a bit more info on what goes inside of one of these awesome units! Feel free to hit me with any questions you have!

I believe there is some vidoe up on utube of Andy driving the manually shifted sequential Speedsouth #9 car. After setting his fast time by several seconds on worn out tires, he commented that this Corvette handled as well as any car he had ever driven. His lap times supported that comment. Of the paddle shifted 500ci #8 car, he said it could do with about 100 less HP, LOL.
