Default worth moving to 18" rim for scrubs?

I have a set of 17" old zr1 style rims i was planning on mounting a set of rcomps on for track days i wasnt driving my spec rx7 but im having trouble locating good scrubs at a cheap price. However it seems 275/35 18 is easy to get because of continental tire class.

2 questions:
Would it be worth it do you think?
Wont a 275/40 17 be higher than a 275/35 18? (So wont be any fitment problems)

275/40/17 = 25.66"

275/35/18 = 25.58

We currently have good stock on 275/35/18 and usually do. We have nothing in 275/40/17. When we do we get very few and they are gone in a day.

I have 275/40/17, 275/35/18 and 255/35/18 scrubs. Would be willing to ship.
