Track tire question
I want to switch it up this season and go from Hoosiers r6 to Michelin cup tires.
They will be the same sizes (295/30/18 and 345/30/19) but the problem is the michelins have a diameter delta from front to rear of 2 inches. ( 25.2 front diameter and 27.2 rear diameter )
I still want to run stability control and abs etc. since I'm still learning. Having said this, is this diameter delta to big?
The Hoosiers were only 1.5 difference between the 2.

I ran that exact setup for a year on track with AH. No problems. 2008 C6Z

I ask because I got the rear tires but now people are saying the diameter difference is to much and that I will have AH problems
Appearently the magic number is .942.
If you take the front diameter (25.2) and divide it by .942 then that will give you the maximum rear diameter you can have. Which in this case would be 26.8 after rounding. Anything over that and Appearently you will have all sorts of problems.
I really don't know what to do as I don't want to get stuck with tires that don't work. And these are the only tired with a tread wear under 100 that fit.
My first event this season is feb 9th so I don't have much time.
