Burning Brakes
My lessons learned from this past weekend on brand new contis is as folllows:
1. Good for 3 heat cycles (20 min each), 4th heat cycle they took 5 laps versus 2 to warm up and were off 1.2 seconds at best.
2. 305/660/18 on a 10" wheel is really pushing it but it works
3. 305/660/18 cracks narrow body C6 front fenders when you go off: hold out for 305/645/18 tires.
That is all.
