Hell, for $50 billion of taxpayer money, I'd expect nothing less.

Without our $50B, there'd be no Corvette Racing.

I loved this quote from the Risi website. Really defines what Corvette Racing is all about:

"The change of plan saw ALMS newcomer Malucelli back in the cockpit for the final hour and, despite calm and controlled driving, he was being hunted down relentlessly by a menacing competitor who appeared to have an advantage over its rivals at each refuelling stop. The 28-year-old Italian was put under intense pressure lap after lap and, with just seven laps to the finish, was passed by the Corvette."

The Ferrari got out of shape over the rumble strips when trying to pass a slower car while also being passed by a prototype. Then he overcooked the next corner and mowed some grass. Milner passed him shortly thereafter.

The #3 unfortunately had early tranny problem and eventually retired. 1-2 would have been nice.
