got an enclosed trailer - anyone install sunsetter awning on one?
Sup guys - My trailer is a 20 ft v-nose:

Sunsetter sells some nice awnings but I don't know if they can fit on the trailer. I'm leaning towards the 1000XT manual crank version. BJ's sell them in widths that range from 10 to 20 ft (all are 10 ft 2" wide):

This would be great for the track but I can also pull up the trailer near my pool area and it can be used there when I'm not racing (thats how i got wifey's approval ).
Has anyone done this to a trailer? Being that my trailer is 20 ft wide, I would love to get the 20 ft awning but not sure if that would fit (don't know how they attach).
Anyone have experience with this stuff?
Thanks.

Yes and it is super easy. Kudos for going to manual crank- the springs in the awning tend to break after a while. Make sure you measure the length of the trailer and the top to the bottom. Sunsetter should have measuring instructions on their website. Make sure all hardware is included in your kit. If your trailer has never had an awning before, you'll need top track as well. Here is mine right after installation.

I've thought about going that route, for my swap meet trailer. The biggest issue I see, is that you'll likely need to roll it up, every time you have to open or close the side door.

Not really. You can adjust the height of the awning by rolling it up where the door won't hit it.

Awesome. Got any more pics? Which model / brand did you use?

I've thought about going enclosed but the one thing that turned me off on them is the floor is so low and fender wells so high that there is no way to get an escape door that you can open the car door and get out. This won't be so much of a problem if and when I finish my track car because that is the only way to get out of it but for now I like being able to open the car door to exit.

You'll see that my awning is extended and my door is open.
Carefree RV awning. With a 20 ft. trailer I think the max you can get is 16 ft. Mine on my 24' trailer is 20 ft. MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE PROPERLY BEFORE ORDERING.
