Default Need to buy a cam

Looking for a recommended source for GM Performance Cam. Considering several, just don't know where to go to purchase. I am in east TN if that matters. Jerry

I'll see D. Popp this weekend, Jerry. He might have one lying around collecting dust. This is for an LS6?

I thought Ryan already had a GM "Hot Cam" in that car. Are you going bigger?

With the ST2 rule change, I can have some combination of weight loss and power gain to get to the 8.0 to 1 ratio. I am just about done with the weight loss program for the car (not the driver yet!!!), and the car is presently making all the power it can make. It is tuned to the max, so to gain any power the cheapest way to get there is going to be a cam, or set of 243 LS6 heads, or both. The GM ASA cam looks pretty interesting. It is two steps up on from the hot cam, but still has mediocre lift numbers so it shouldn't kill the valve springs. I saw a post somewhere where somone also mentioned stage 2 and stage 3 LS cams with good numbers, but I haven't actually found them yet. Jerry

Swap to better heads also to get where you're want.
