Default Video from CVCC Pocono Raceway (North Course)

If anyone is interested in checking out the new pavement areas of the track. I posted a YouTube video of it. Start it around 2:50 mark.

Looks great thanks for posting. Person standing with a flag near track edge and no protection is really stupid.

what times were people running? Must of made it a bit faster.

For me, first time on track and driving this car. Factory 7 year old brake pads and new cup tires had me pretty conservative. I think I was just over a minute with little traffic. Between 1:00 and 1:03.
Quickest guys were running mid 50s.

What speeds did you hit on the oval ?

I can't believe a flagger was standing there.

mid 50's is fast. First time I went I ran 1:09 100% stock car first event. Last was 57:01 on old track. Never could get to the next lower minute.

Like when I took my GS to the 1/4 mile it was 13:01 and no lower One day I'll get back

Transition into infield looks smooth, gonna miss that bump. Also putting my rear pass side tire in the dirt on first turn in into infield. Thanks for posting.

My best was 57.4. On the bowl I was hitting 135 in 4th gear. There was more in her but I didn't want to shift to 5th or rev the hell out of her. I heard guys in C6zs were hitting in the 140s or better. The transition into the infield is still a bump - not as bad as last year but not smooth like it was a couple years ago. I was clearly losing time there - I was slowing to mid 90s because the bump was so bad. Should have been over 100 right there. The new pavement is awesome - tons of grip.

Missed you out there George! You going to be at lightning with ECS in June?
