Default What brake ducts work with Stoptechs ?

I am putting on a set of Stoptech ST 60/40s and just discovered that they interfere with my quantum brake ducts. What brake ducts will work with the Stoptechs?

Thanks,
Charley

Do you mean spindle ducts? If so, I would recommend talking to someone at LG Motorsports. I have some of their spindle ducts with my StopTechs. Mine are from 2004 and I'm not sure how much they have changed their design (if at all). Since they are also a StopTech dealer, I bet you could talk to them about your specific set up (be sure to mention the size brake duct hose you want to use).

Their spindle ducts get sandwiched between the bearing assembly and the spindle so you will have to take the bearing off to put them on. The brake caliper and rotor still lined up great for me on my C5Z06.

Where exactly was the interference? I ran ST-60/40 in my old C6 Z51 with Quantum brake ducts and didn't have an issue (at least that I knew about).

Please provide details.

I had the same problem. Nothing a little grinding didn't fix.

That looks like the answer. It looks like I need to trim about 1/4" from the air inlet and I will have to cut off the heat shields.

Thanks for the help,
Charley

Here is a picture. In this picture the disk wasn't fully installed because it is interfering with the spindle duct. It is hitting the air inlet at the top and the heat shields on the bottom. Looks like I have some trimming to do....
