More Laguna C6 Z06 video
Two events in two weeks, so here's more video, chasing another C6 Z06 this time. *Very* closely matched, so it was great fun. We are both on R-comps, RA-1 in my case, R888 on his car. That was about as hard as I care to drive...this is a DE after all. There is a part 2 if you want to see if we ever get by the obstructionist GTR...;-)

You guys looked like you were having a blast
Great to see Z06's mixing it up.
Great driving too
So what happens to the GTR?

Ha ha, I watched Part 2 on YT. Enjoyed watching the videos, so actually piloting those C6Z's must have been a blast. I wont spoil the plot as far as the GTR goes...
Good driving.

good video. quick question; how did you guys manage to find the stock Z06 sizes (assuming both of you have 18/19 setup 275s front and 325s rear) on RA-1 or R888 ? I have been trying to find a set of those but didn't want to go 345s at the rear where I can only find 265s at the front.
Any info would be highly appreciated

Yeah, I was on the RA-1s. 275/35x18 front, 335/30x18 rear. Rears are out of production but there are still some around, from about 2007 IIRC. I actually think the R888 is a better solution now, since they are current production and you can run 295/30 fronts which I think is a good thing. They seem to be a little quicker than the RA-1s, don't know how their life is.

Ok, that is what I thought because the largest size listed now is only 275/35/18.
I have been running R888's and they have lasted pretty well so far.
I still find it so strange the lack of available R compound tires for our cars.

It's been almost 3 years since I bought them, and I don't remember. I"m sure ForgeLine would be able to tell you. When I did the research they were among the lightest and have a great reputation for strength. That said, nothing wrong with CCWs either. I just liked the look of the ForgeLine GA3R.

Nice! I love C6 Z's. Nice driving and video.
Are you using a GoPro? My only recommendation is getting a mic. It would sound so much better.
What data acquisition system is that? I like that.

The data is a Rumblestrip, real time predictive giving you info on whether you are running ahead or behind your best lap time, so you can try different lines. GPS based.
