If I can arrange it - I'll be out Sat to spectate.
No car, they don't need instructors and Sunday I have to get on a plane to Cedar Rapids, IA

We had one heck of a weekend. I cannot comment on everything that happened so i'll give you guys/gals the highlights.
Waking up early at spectator hill is simply the best
Day break in the pits. The paddock was alive with customer’s cars and techs wildly prepping cars for the day’s events.
MTI CEO Reese *** headed out for the first TT runs of the day.
Followed by MTI driver Mike Howard
just for everyone's Reference a bone stock corvette will run in the 1:45 - 1:34 times around Road Atlanta.
Mike's car was testing our T-56 Sequential transmission. his best time was 1:25.556
Reese was testing the new Super 500 engine and put down a 1:24.8 the announcer called it a NASA record.
Mike and Reese took home 1st and 2nd place in the TT events that weekend. Almost 5 seconds in front of 3rd place. They left the field way behind.
Next up was MTI Drivers Matt Isbell and Joe Freda. Competing in the classic-outlaw race (V1).

Matt Isbell's 240z says Datsun all over it but it's powered by a MTI 427 LS7. That little hot rod is just motor, tires, and a loose nut behind the wheel.
Joe's 71 Camaro Is the same story, loose nut included. He has owned the camaro since he was 18 years old.
Now he and his son have built it into a serious track weapon.
Matt and Joe where neck and neck almost the entire race. They traded for the lead constantly.
Over every hill spectators wondered who would come over it in the lead.
Matts's 240 cam out on top. Matt and Joe both shared a 1:28 lap time and left the field way behind them.
Right now i am editing the race footage. we will post a video very soon.
Matt and Joe both have hearts of gold. Matt brought his extra car to give rides for charity.

There I am The passer not the passee
Awesome shots - First time out there with the Z, getting used to her and having some fun. Another great weekend at Road Atlanta! Good to know on the 1:34-1:45 reference point. I was on average on the higher end of that scale I think, mid-to-low 40s based on some brief video reviews.
PS: I need to come see you guys soon
