Default What Fluid?

I will be running 6+ HPDE events this year (4 last year) and I want to know what Brake Fluid you all are running.

I originally upgraded to stainless lines and have been running SRF ($65 a qt) and I am getting ready to do a complete flush. Don't get me wrong the liquid gold is very nice but I cant justify the expense on my mediocre lap times.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

ATE Super Blue or Gold. Has a very high boiling point and is very reasonable at about $15.00 per quart. I drive the snot out of my Z06 and have not boiled the ATE yet. I recommend it.

Not much of a price difference between Motul and ATE.
ATE Blue is $20.99 ATE Blue is $20.99
and Motul RBF and Motul RBF
is $18.99. No shipping and no sales tax.

LOL I saw that too! I ordered the ATE Super Blue and if it works well I will flush with the gold next time!

Thanks to everyone who responded...I'll post up my thoughts after I run a few events...

I've heard that the people who run SRF purge less often so in the long run it isn't that much more, if any more expensive.

I have tried ATE Blue and it boiled badly. Motul seems to work fine and no boiling.

SRF dont see the reason to say it is too expensive when it is a critical part of the braking system and less maint when at the track when using it.

OK Gents! I just cancelled the ATE order. I really felt like maybe it was an overkill but apparently not.

Please keep sending in your recommendations but as I now I am completely considering going back to SRF...

I have been using ATE Super Blue / Typ 200 in rotation for years and have never had the boiling fluid syndrome.

I use standard calipers, XP10/XP8 combo and DBA4000 rotors, the only thing boiling was the rubber of my tires.

ATE

Seriously, if you're willing to dump over $400 on pads, why not $150 on the SRF? Once I run out of Wilwood 570, I'm taking the plunge myself. (I realize you already bought the SRF, just beating a dead horse now)

I am really hoping that this is the solution for me too. I have tried Motul and Amsoil and even with my AP T1 kit I am having to bleed my brakes between every day.
